A Winter Escape with Really good Dining!
The fine lake views complemented a good four-course meal that rivaled the best fine dining experiences. Warm and inviting atmosphere, with staff going above and beyond to assist us. Don't miss the breakfast buffet which is very nice! Book early for peak views!

Had a such great stay on the 1st night of our honeymoon, and would definitely return here. Breakfast was savoury, lovely views, amazing location close enough to bistro and main restaurant, and Killarney of the lake and mountains. Appreciated the updated queen room with an elegant design. Really enjoyed a Jacuzzi in our jacuzzi bathroom.
Though everything was perfect, some of the staff were unattentive.

Superb location of the hotel and view from the room if you get room with lake view and its surroundings. we wish we had more time to stay here,we stayed only 2 nights and loved it.staff is very helpful and Mr.Naill gave us so many tips what to do & see in the area & how to go here and there.
if one gets room without view of lake then I would not like it.so ask for a room with lake view.

A fantastic hotel in a beautiful lake side setting surrounded by mountains. We upgraded to a deluxe room which was superb. Friendly staff and good food.
Under 16's aren't allowed to use the outdoor hot tub. The hotel could do with a swimming pool.

Their rooms are always reasonably large and top-notch with balcony, a jacuzzi and facilities to make tea. The location is beautiful, 2 miles from Coolwood Wildlife Park.

A magical birthday surprise
Arriving to find a birthday surprise of chocolates and a lovely card. The beautiful views from our balcony were the cherry on top!
While the room's heat was problematic, it didn't overshadow the charm and excellent service, made our trip special.

Room / view / restaurant / bar / music in bar / all excellent.
Everyywhere was very very very very hot. Bar was stifling. Room was hot. Restaurant a little cooler. I could not see a controller which did not help. I mentioned it when checking out & it seemed it was the first time the check out lady had heard of this issue which surprised me. Based on this I would be slow to return in Autumn / Winter which is a pity as everything else was excellent but if the hotel is too hot it does spoil everything else.

had a lovely stay, room superb, beautiful view's
were told at reception that the hotel had spa, but when we went to use it there was a sign saying - out of order ?. lack of communication between the spa and reception .

Our upgraded room, overlooking the lake was most comfortable with every facility. With better weather we would have explored the hotel grounds and nearby walks more. Eating overlooking the Lake was a real treat (we saw deer one night), and an evening of Irish music in one of the bar lounges was first class. A traditional but very up-market hotel.
